Ready “Set” Go!

This week has been all about matching sets. One of the things I am most excited about is that it is something fresh and new. Although sets have been making their way into our closets for a little while, now we are full throttle! Personally, I believe a lot of this trend is in part to all the cozy sets we have been wearing especially through the pandemic. And then designers took it a step further and made amazing sets in all varieties.

One of the things that are so great about the sets is they have all the benefits of a dress BUT with the added bonus of being able to separate the pieces and creating more looks out of them. Just like a dress you don’t have to think about how you will wear it you just throw it on and go! But if you want the option to wear the pieces separately you certainly can.

If you ever feel overwhelmed by the pattern or color of a set or you want a way to break it up wearing a belt will be your best friend. And belts are always in but statement belts have been making their presence known for a while now and they are continuing to be an important aspect to your accessory closet. Investing in one or two neutral wider belts (like white and camel for spring) is very smart, not just for sets, but for your wardrobe in general. One of the ways you can really utilize a belt is by wearing it with your sets to give them a little break between the top and the bottom.

Shorts, skirts and pants all get to play for this trend and these sets go from casual to dressy so everyone can take advantage no matter how you dress on a daily basis. Mom’s here is a GREAT way to bring in something new to your casual daily wear that is on trend, EASY and fun!
