Fall Capsule Wardrobe 2022
A capsule wardrobe is the perfect way to update your wardrobe (especially when working on a budget). A capsule wardrobe can be a great place to begin building a wardrobe or a way to add the seasons latest colors and trends.
The whole idea behind a capsule wardrobe is to add to your wardrobe a variety of pieces that can all coordinate and work together. It is a set number of pieces that when styled create many outfits. If you take the 20 plus pieces, I selected for this capsule you can create co many looks (not to mention how these pieces can work with items already hanging in your closet).
When I create a specialized wardrobe like this, I usually like to focus on color and a variety of items within those colors. I like to make sure all the key elements are represented, jackets, denim, shoes, dresses etc. I take a couple basic colors (for this capsule I did white, grey and black) and then added the color which I chose fuchsia and violet. I pulled a selection that can go from more casual to dressier and in this one in particular I didn’t pull anything ultra-casual or dressy….I chose to stay more in the middle lane.
Accessories are always essential to round out any wardrobe, so I focused on shoes, purses and belts. If a client wanted, I could have also added jewelry to this capsule. The capsule I created is a great example of what a Beyond the Box could look like if you chose to have a wardrobe box.
